BSc(Hons) MBBS FRCS MD FRCS (Plast)
I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a busy private practice at Claremont Hospital. I specialise in cosmetic breast surgery (including re-operative), all aspects of facial rejuvenation (eyes, face and nose), body contouring and skin cancer. I believe in getting natural-looking results for my patients through attention to detail.
Graduating in 1993 from Guy’s Hospital Medical School (MBBS BSc Hons) and continuing my surgical training in London, I become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 1998.
My specialist plastic and reconstructive surgical training continued at Salisbury, Stoke Mandeville and the Oxford Radcliffe Infirmary. As a Clinical Research Fellow I was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) by the University of London in 2005.
After passing the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCSPlast.) in 2004, I carried out further specialist training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia (Centre of Excellence for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery).
I was a Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (2007 - 2022) specialising in breast plus head and neck reconstruction, skin cancer and post weight loss body contouring.
I am a registered trainer with the GMC, teaching and assessing at all levels from medical students through to consultants. I'm a Senior Examiner for the Intercollegiate Specialty Board in Plastic Surgery (2012-2026) to maintain the standards of UK plastic surgery for consultants.
A firm believer in surgical safety, I chair the Plastics Clinical Governance Committee and represent the specialty at Claremont Hospital.
