I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2000. I trained in surgery in East Yorkshire and joined the Yorkshire Higher Surgical Training Programme in plastic surgery in 2007 following a year studying for an MSc in Sports Exercise Medicine in Nottingham.
I furthered my expertise in the fields of hand and cosmetic surgery with the National Fellowships in hand surgery and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Oxford and Yorkshire respectively in 2012-2013.
In 2013, I started working as a consultant at Pinderfields Hospital and have developed interests in hand surgery and body contouring surgery following massive weight loss.

Away from work I enjoy time with my young family and am a keen golfer at Alwoodley and Royal Liverpool golf clubs; and cricketer, having played first-class cricket, 1994-2000.
