Virtual consultations:
I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon and specialist in shoulder and elbow surgery (fellowship trained). My NHS base is at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, a central London teaching hospital and major trauma centre, but I live locally to Spire St Anthony's Hospital.
I specialise in treating all conditions of the shoulder and elbow, with a particular interest in sports injuries, shoulder instability surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement surgery and fractures around the shoulder and elbow.
It has been my pleasure to work with a number of the major driving forces behind shoulder and elbow surgery in this country and this has given me expertise in advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) techniques, complex arthroplasty (joint replacements) and trauma.
My time in the military and in a major trauma centre means that I have an enormous experience of major trauma and a degree in physiology and sports science, allied to my own personal experience of playing semi-professional rugby, provides a special insight into the treatment of sports injuries.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Dylan Griffiths at Spire include:
Orthopaedics - elbow and shoulder
Paediatrics

I live locally with my wife and two young children. We enjoy being out in the countryside on weekends and although a relative latecomer to it, I can't think of many better things than spending time on the ski slopes. I still maintain my love of rugby post retirement.
