I was educated at Haberdashers' Aske's School and University College London and Middlesex school of medicine. During my training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery I was awarded an AO scholarship and the Merck Sharp and Dohme (MSD) scholarship for excellence. Training continued at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby and Wrightington Hospital, and the Tel Aviv Medical Centre. I hold the European Diploma in Hand Surgery and was awarded the Churchill Livingstone Medal for the best candidate.
I work as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon at University College London Hospital. I have expertise in managing sports and athletic injuries and provide services to Premier League football clubs, rugby clubs, cricket clubs and various sports medicine clinics.
I am a faculty member at International and National meetings and regularly teach surgical techniques in hand and wrist surgery both in the UK and around the world. I have also presented and published on key aspects of hand and wrist surgery including original articles and book chapters. I am an invited reviewer for the journal of bone and joint surgery, the journal of children's orthopaedics and other journals.
