I am trauma and revision arthroplasty consultant at Mid-Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. In my practice I see patients with hip and knee pain and arthritis and use my knowledge and experience to help them achieve a pain-free and active life.

After completing my core orthopaedic training in Nottingham, I joined the renowned North Yorkshire rotation for my specialised training. After earning my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and passing the Royal College Fellowship exam, I started an advanced fellowship in complex trauma at King's College Hospital in London, one of Europe’s busiest trauma centres.

To deepen my expertise, I spent a year in Toronto, Canada, at one of North America's leading orthopaedic centres, where I specialised in primary, complex primary, and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries.

In my practice, I perform hip and knee replacement surgeries, as well as revision surgery on patients who have had a previous replacement procedure. I have a special interest in muscle-sparing techniques, particularly the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for hip replacements. These innovative methods allow me to perform surgery without cutting or damaging muscle, leading to faster recovery times and improved outcomes for my patients.

I am also deeply committed to research and continually strive to improve the quality of care I provide. You can explore my published work in peer-reviewed journals by following the link below.
