Specialises in
I am a Consultant Oncoplastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Breast Surgeon. I have been a consultant in NHS practice for 10 years, first at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, then moving to the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and have worked in private practice for the same period of time. I provide a symptomatic, screening, risk-reducing and reconstructive service, with a growing practice in providing second opinions and working in complex revisional breast surgery.
I perform only breast surgery and my experience covers all aspects of the speciality. I am passionate about creating the very best outcome for every patient, combining both the science and the art of medicine.
The skillsets that I have acquired enables me to address the different needs of both newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and cosmetic surgery patients with the same attention to detail. Although they have different requirements, there is a wide crossover of techniques used for these two groups of patients and all benefit.
My strengths lie in my dedication to excellence within all fields of breast surgery. I specialise in providing the most up-to-date individualised treatments combined with attending to the holistic needs of each of my patients. I am also able to see young patients, under 18 years with specific concerns about their breasts.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) and am Course Convenor and Faculty Member for Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) courses. I am also a Module lead for the University of East Anglia Cosmetic Breast Surgery Diploma. I recruit to research trials and teaches undergraduate and post-graduate students in Liverpool, regionally and nationally.

I have grown up in Liverpool and Manchester and the North West is my home. I live in South Manchester with my family and enjoy running, cycling, skiing and have recently discovered the joys of bootcamp. I play my clarinet to myself when my family are out of earshot. I will never say “no” to a glass of champagne or slice of chocolate cake!
