I am a UK fellowship-trained consultant spinal surgeon. My practice involves the care of all forms of spinal medicine and surgery. I utilise a multi-disciplinary approach working with physiotherapy, rehabilitation, pain management and radiology specialists. Surgically, I perform all forms of appropriate spinal intervention from the neck to the low back.
My major interests lie in scoliosis, tumour, trauma and degenerative spinal surgery. I care for children through to the elderly with spinal problems. Privately I operate exclusively at Spire Southampton Hospital.

I was born in Taunton in 1966, attended school near Bath and qualified from Southampton University in 1990. My basic orthopaedic training was on the Wessex rotation and I completed fellowships in spinal surgery in Oxford and Zurich. I am married with two boys and enjoy watching rugby, playing squash and mountain biking.
