Specialises in
I began my medical training at the University of St Andrews, gaining a BSc in Medical Science and completed my clinical training, qualifying from Manchester University, in 2000. I underwent Specialist Training in Plastic Surgery at the Oxford Deanery and was awarded my CCT in 2014, entering the Specialist Register.
In my final year of training I spent a year of Fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia. This was a specialised Microsurgical and Cosmetic Fellowship, covering all aspects of plastic surgical reconstruction.
I was appointed as a substantive NHS Plastic Surgeon at Salisbury Foundation Trust and also work at University Hospital Southampton at the Major Trauma Centre due to my main interest in limb reconstruction.
I have a busy practice in elective and trauma hand surgery, limb reconstruction and microsurgery. I also have expertise in skin cancer surgery, breast reconstruction and scar revision. I am the education lead for plastic surgery and mentor aspiring plastic surgeons of the future.
