Mr Graham Tytherleigh-Strong

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

FRCS (Orth), DSportMed

I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow conditions for over 20 years. My particular expertise is in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, including the arthroscopic management of complex instability, rotator cuff disease, revision surgery, primary arthroplasty and sternoclavicular joint problems.

I see patients who suffer with ongoing shoulder conditions, sports injuries, shoulder instability and arthritis.

My interests include the management and arthroscopic surgical treatment of complex shoulder instability, rotator cuff disease and arthritis. I have a particular interest in injuries and arthritis of the sternoclavicular joint. I have described and pioneered an arthroscopic procedure to treat a number of sternoclavicular joint conditions, including arthritis and instability.

I am actively involved in clinical and basic science research and in complex shoulder instability, biologics for rotator cuff repair and sternoclavicular joint arthritis and instability. I regularly lecture and teach on shoulder surgery, both nationally and internationally. I am published widely in peer reviewed medical journals and am a member of a number of national and international professional organisations.
