I am an expert Consultant Gynaecologist with over 19 years of dedicated experience in the field. Currently serving as the Clinical Director of Gynaecology and Obstetrics and the lead surgeon for the BSGE accredited Endometriosis Centre at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, I also hold an honorary consultancy at King's Fertility.
My primary focus revolves around delivering cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatments for gynaecological conditions. Placing patient comfort and safety at the forefront, I adopt a holistic approach to ensure the provision of the highest quality, individualised care.
As a leading BSGE accredited minimally invasive endometriosis surgeon, I have particular expertise in pelvic pain, endometriosis, adhesions, fibroids, ovarian cysts, heavy or abnormal bleeding, prolapse, menopause and HRT, or severe premenstrual tension.
Additionally, with long standing work and collaboration with The Centre for Reproductive Immunology and Pregnancy miscarriage clinics, I specialise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions that may lead to recurrent miscarriages and poor fertility outcomes. These include hysteroscopy and treatment of fibroids, uterine septum, treatment of Asherman’s syndrome, and surgery for the fallopian tube.
With a track record of over 3,000 successful minimally invasive gynaecological procedures, I am committed to delivering the highest standard of care to my patients. Sustaining a consistently high procedural volume, I take pride in maintaining a low complication rate, as evidenced by surgical data. What distinguishes my practice is a dedication to viewing each patient holistically, appreciating their individuality. I prioritise a thorough understanding of your unique needs and, whether the optimal approach is surgical or non-surgical, I am positioned to recommend the most suitable course of action. Your wellbeing is my paramount concern, and I welcome any inquiries or discussions regarding your care.
I have been honoured with multiple national and international prizes for my scientific presentations in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) gynaecology and gynaecological ultrasound, including 3D/4D. As an award-winning researcher in medicine, I take pride in having published numerous papers in scientific peer-reviewed journals, encompassing randomised controlled trials and contributing a chapter to a book.
In my role as an accredited teacher and instructor, I collaborate closely with various faculties, such as the Royal College of Surgeons, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the advanced life support group and the Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit. My dedication extends to assisting in the training of other medical professionals in gynaecological surgery and emergency obstetrics.
Utilising an evidence-based and minimally invasive approach, I am committed to working with you to identify the best treatment options tailored to your individual needs.
