I am a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust with a fellowship subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery as well as paediatric orthopaedic surgery.
My surgical scope for foot and ankle surgery involves managing foot and ankle arthritis, bunion correction, sports injuries, ankle arthroplasty and ankle fusion. I have a special interest with diabetic foot problems and management of complex foot deformities.
I trained in the East Midlands region working in tertiary specialist centres and district general hospitals. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Tr.&Orth) and on the orthopaedics Specialist Register.
I did a paediatric fellowship at Sheffield Children's Hospital a world-renowned centre for paediatric surgery, following which I did one year of a pure elective foot and ankle fellowship at Nottingham university Hospitals, after completing the fellowship I worked as a locum consultant in Nottingham university Hospitals until I moved to Sherwood forest hospitals.
I have published and presented research in orthopaedic surgery in both national and international venues and meetings.
