I undertake practice in a full range of adult spinal conditions. I am particularly interested in both surgical and non operative management of sciatica, back pain, arm pain and neck pain.
I undertake a number of microsurgical procedures including minimally invasive decompressions, microdiscectomy, cervical discectomy and cervical foraminotomy, as well as fusion surgery and disc replacement surgery.
I have gained expertise in conservative management of back pain and sciatica undertaking injection treatments including nerve root blocks, facet joint blocks and image guided epidurals.
My basic surgical and orthopaedic training was in South Wales prior to specialist orthopaedic training in the West Midlands deanery. In addition to this, I completed Spinal Fellowships at the University Hospital North Staffordshire and at North Bristol NHS Trust. I also undertook visitations to Miami and Florida Celebration Hospital, Orlando, USA.

I am married with two child and live in a 16th century barn which I converted from a derelict state. I am interested in rugby and enjoy spending what free time I have with my family.
