I am a Consultant General Surgeon at Spire Leeds Hospital, and St James’ University Hospital. I have a special interest in benign biliary disease (gallbladder and bile duct), and have performed the highest number of cholecystectomies (gallbladder surgeries) within Yorkshire in 2023. I also have expertise in groin hernias and sports hernias.
I have trained within Yorkshire and spent significant time at St James’ University Hospital, with a primary focus in hepatobiliary and transplant Surgery.
I have expertise in liver and pancreas surgery. I have worked as a Consultant Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgeon at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, where I performed complex surgeries for both liver and pancreatic cancer.
I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leeds. During my surgical training, I spent time in scientific research and obtained a Medical Doctorate (MD). I remain actively involved in research having published numerous publications in peer reviewed journals. I regularly present at both national and international meetings and conferences.
