I have worked as a consultant general surgeon since 2021, having trained in a wide range of disciplines within general surgery. I mainly specialise in gallbladder and hernia surgery.
I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leeds in 2003. My main focus of training was in Hepatobiliary and Transplant Surgery. I have worked at various places over the country and in Australia, but have settled with my family in Leeds. I have taken part in research and have a higher degree.
I worked as consultant liver and pancreas surgeon for a year at Royal Blackburn Hospital, performing a number of complex surgeries for both liver cancer and pancreatic cancer. I have personally performed the highest number of gallbladder surgeries at St. James’ University Hospital over the last two years.
I have published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings.
