Specialises in
I am a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Frimley Heath NHS Foundation Trust.
I specialise in general and colorectal surgery. This includes (bowel) cancer, inflammatory bowel disease surgery and coloproctology (including anal fissure, skin tags, anal fistula and hemorrhoids), hernia repair and emergency general surgery. I also undertake lower gastrointestinal endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy).
After completing my surgical training in 2020, I have undertaken two fellowships. This included the Royal College of Surgeons' advanced laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at Frimley Hospital, where I now routinely perform and train minimal access surgical approaches (laparoscopic or keyhole surgery) for bowel resections. I also have a particular interest in surgery for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. I spent seven months working in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
I have completed a PhD at Imperial College London where I am now an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer.
