I am a Consultant Spinal Deformity Surgeon at the Birmingham Spinal Unit at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. Prior to this, I have worked as a consultant at the ABMU Health Board, Swansea and the Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery, Nottingham.

I have extensive experience in the surgical treatment of spinal deformity in children, teenagers, adults and the elderly populations. I also treat degenerative conditions of the cervical and the lumbar spine, and spinal trauma and spinal tumours.

I have treated professional and semi-professional football, cricket and rugby players, and I was a Spine Consultant with the Swan's City FC.

After completing my CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedics, I undertook fellowships in spinal surgery at the Bristol Orthopaedic Spinal Service for a year and spent a year as a Spinal Reconstruction Fellow in Columbia, Missouri, USA.

I have published papers, co-authored chapters, presented papers to learned societies and lectured at national and international meetings. I am a member of the SRS, BSS, BASS, BOA and ASSI.
