I have trained in general surgery and kidney transplantation as well as renal failure surgery. I have developed a large volume of practice in benign biliary disease (offering laparoscopic cholecystectomy) and abdominal wall hernia surgery of all types (offering laparoscopic and open surgery).
I also offer all aspects of dialysis access surgery. My NHS role includes all aspects of emergency general surgery, including laparoscopic appendicectomy as well as a lead role in laparoscopic and open splenectomy.
I began my medical career at Cambridge University from where I qualified in 1995. The majority of my higher surgical training was in the East Midlands although I did spend a year in Birmingham gaining extra experience in all aspects of kidney transplantation surgery.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Keith Graetz at Spire include:
General surgery
Clinical Lead for emergency surgical services, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth
Consultant Transplant and General Surgeon, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth
When the opportunity arose to move to the South Coast at the beginning of 2009 my family moved and we have now settled here enjoying the benefits of living near to the coast and the South Downs. When not enjoying my young family, I can be found training and competing in running, cycling and triathlon events.
