Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
My practice encompasses all aspects of ENT, in addition to which I have a special interest in balance disorders.
As such, I see and treat patients with ear infections (including otitis externa, perforated eardrum and cholesteatoma), hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, nasal obstruction (including nasal polyps) nasal allergy, sinusitis, facial pain, throat symptoms (including tonsillitis, globus, PND, cough and reflux), snoring, hoarseness and neck lumps. I strive to deliver the best possible patient-centred care at all times.
After graduating from Cambridge University and The Royal London Hospital, I returned to the North to continue training in the Yorkshire region. My research won several prizes and led to an MD Thesis on the Genetics of Head & Neck Cancer. I have operated in Bangladesh (through a charitable organisation) and have benefited greatly from visiting centres of excellence in Bordeaux (the Georges Portmann Institute) and Los Angeles (the House Clinic).
I have been a Consultant since 2008 and Head of Clinical Service (HoCS) at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2018.
