I have been a Consultant Vascular Surgeon since 2000. I have vast experience in all aspects of vascular surgery including modern treatment of varicose veins, repair of aortic and other peripheral aneurysms, bypasses for blocked arteries and carotid artery surgery for the prevention of stroke.
I perform minimally invasive procedures in the chest for excessive hand and axillary sweating, and in few selected cases for facial blushing. I also treat vascular problems affecting the upper limbs including thoracic outlet syndrome.
I am a Surgical Tutor with oversight for training of junior doctors and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons. I am also an appointed member of the inaugural panel of examiners for the newly established Intercollegiate Specialty Board in Vascular Surgery.
