I have advanced training in vascular and endovascular surgery and have worked in many eminent regional vascular and endovascular units, such as St Thomas', St George's and the Royal Free hospitals in London. This has enhanced my skills and has allowed me to become familiar with different and diverse surgical practices.

I have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence 2019 by iWantGreatCare, voted for by patients for highest standard of care and outcomes. I was also awarded a Certificate of Excellence in both 2018 and 2017 as the most highly and consistently recommended clinician by my patients across the UK.

I am currently a Consultant at St George's University Hospitals after previously having been the Specialty Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery for Ashford and St Peter's NHS Trust.

I am an Educational Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, Examiner and Appraiser. Throughout my clinical career I have been involved in teaching doctors from different universities. I am an examiner at the Imperial College in London and I am also a member of the interviewing panel of potential medical students at St George's University of London.

I enjoy playing music and have an artistic talent that has been reflected in my work. I play the lute and violin, and play music to raise money for charitable and various other events, with my most recent performances being in London, Paris, Italy and Sweden.

I was a guest of honour at the BBC World service in April 2013. I played the oud and discussed the relationship between music and medicine in a special episode on remembrance of Farid Alatrash, the best oud player and composer in the Middle East.
