BDS, MSc, MBChB, FDSRCS, FRCS (OMFS)
I qualified in Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and in Dentistry at the University of Witwatersrand, where I conducted research in the Bone Research Laboratory, publishing on tissue regeneration and bioengineering, and received an MSc.
My practice encompasses many aspects of facial surgery. I am also a skin cancer surgeon. I see patients for problems relating to facial orthognathic/cosmetic surgery, trauma to skin and bones of the face, dental implants/oral surgery, and general surgery of the mouth, salivary glands, neck and temporomandibular joints.
I received all my postgraduate surgical training in the United Kingdom. Formal Higher Surgical Training was achieved by rotating through some of the best training hospitals for my specialty – King’s College Hospital, The Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and The Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. I am board Certified in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery in the UK and holds the FRCS (OMFS). I am registered with the GMC (General Medical Council) as a Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeon.
