MB BCh, MD, FRCS
I am solely based in Spire Cardiff Hospital with a private practice only and no longer have an NHS practice.
As a general/vascular surgeon I undertake most general/vascular investigations and procedures. However I have a major interest in the management of varicose veins using a combination of surgical intervention when necessary and/or foam therapy to obtain the best possible results for both symptomatic (including venous ulcers) and cosmetic varicosities. Many varicose veins can be treated successfully as an outpatient without requiring anaesthesia or discomfort.
I am involved with the local University in research of cardiovascular disease.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Mike Lewis at Spire include:
Vascular surgery
Other treatments
