I am a Neurosurgeon with a special interest in spinal surgery. I am working as a Complex Spinal Surgeon in Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience, Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester.
I received my MBBS degree from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, and I received my FRCS in Neurosurgery from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
I have worked as a Neurosurgical trainee in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and completed my Neurosurgery training in Manchester then received advanced training in complex spinal surgery in Liverpool and Manchester while working with both Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeons.
My major research interests include outcomes related to minimally invasive spine surgery, cost-effectiveness and value of spinal surgery procedures, and comparative effectiveness of various treatments of spinal pathology.
I have authored articles and presented on various conferences. I have also contributed podcast and articles for resident doctors' education.
