I have been working as a Consultant General Surgeon for over seven years. I am a trained general and gallbladder surgeon. My interests are gallbladder and hernia surgery, both open and keyhole (laparoscopic).
I am JAG (Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy) certified for diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscope).
I have performed over 1,000 gall bladder operations and gastroscopy procedures, and close to 1,000 different hernia repairs.
I have been working in Pinderfields University Hospital since February 2018. I did my training in Ireland. After moving to the UK, I did four years of senior clinical fellowships in Hepato Pancreato Biliary surgery in Leeds and Manchester.
