I am dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care and expertise to my patients and I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and techniques in foot and ankle surgery. I work closely with my patients to develop personalised treatment plans that are tailored to their individual needs and goals.
As a foot and ankle surgeon, my practice is focused on diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the lower extremities. I have performed numerous procedures to help patients alleviate pain and restore function.
Some of the conditions that I commonly treat include Ankle fractures, Arthritis of the foot and ankle, Bunions and hammer toes, Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon injuries, Ligament sprain and tears, Neuromas, Tarsal tunnel syndrome, Flat feet and high arches and Diabetic foot disease.
Whether it is through surgical intervention or non-surgical treatments, such as physical therapy or orthotics, I work with my patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses their specific concerns and helps them achieve the best possible outcome. My focus is always on improving my patients’ quality of life and helping them return to their daily activities as soon as possible.
To date, I have performed nearly 100 bunion correction and 50 ankle arthroscopy and ankle stabilisation procedures and over 100 complex foot and ankle trauma procedures in my NHS practice. Throughout my experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of these procedures and have honed my skills to provide the highest level of care to my patients.
I was born in Myanmar and educated in Methodist English High School in Yangon. I graduated from Institute of Medicine (1) Yangon in 2002.
