I was the first Urologist to be appointed to Wirral University Teaching Hospital's NHS Foundation, over 23 years ago. I have wide reaching experience across the field of urology, but nowadays my particular interests relate to prostate, bladder and penile cancer, urinary tract infections and inflammation, infertility and urinary tract stones.

Urological oncology, stone disease, lithotripsy, ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, prostate, bladder and penile cancer, Rezum vapour therapy, renal and ureteric calculi, urethral strictures and male infertility including microsurgical reversal of vasectomy.  

I have a particular interest in prostate cancer imaging and advanced biopsy techniques, (template biopsy). I also runs a supra regional penile cancer service and receive many referrals for suspected penile cancer.

I have extensive research interests and have published more than 60 scientific papers in the fields of prostate cancer, bladder cancer, penile cancer, stone surgery, interstitial cystitis and andrology. My team and I have been awarded 15 prizes for best presentations at regional, national and international urology meetings. I am currently the local lead for several ongoing studies.
