I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon providing a general ophthalmic and cataract service and a specialist service in all aspects of retinal disease.

I obtained my medical degree at St George's Hospital Medical School, London. My higher surgical training in ophthalmology was also completed in London, including attachments at St George's Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, acquiring extensive clinical and surgical experience in the management of all types of ophthalmic disorders.

I did two years advanced sub-specialty training in the medical and surgical management of vitreous, retinal, and macular disorders. This was carried out at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, Australia, and at the Oxford Eye Hospital, England.

I am presently a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Southend and Orsett NHS Hospitals providing a general ophthalmic and cataract service and a specialist service in all aspects of retinal disease.

I welcome appropriate patients wishing to refer and pay for treatment themselves without the need for a GPs letter of referral.
