I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Surrey and Sussex NHS Healthcare Trust where I am lead clinician for andrology and audit lead. I specialise in andrology and genito-urethral reconstruction with a specific interest in erectile dysfunction, male infertility, Peyronie's disease and urethral strictures. I also perform a range of general urological procedures and have a particular interest in prostate cancer diagnosis, minimally invasive prostate surgery and urinary tract stone disease.
In addition to all aspects of general urology, my specialist training included 15 months training in genito-urethral reconstruction at Aghia Sophia Children's Hospital and a PhD research project which focused in male fertility following ischaemic testicular injury. Following entry on the specialist register, I spent two years as an andrology Fellow at Guy’s Hospital, gaining further sub-specialty training in andrology, male infertility and genito-urethral reconstruction.
As a consultant at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, I have established a modernised andrology service which focuses on promoting men's health. I have also developed the local anaesthetic transperineal prostate biopsy service, the local anaesthetic intravesical Botox injections service and contributed to the development of the day surgery urology service at Crawley Hospital.
I am an educational and clinical supervisor for urology trainees and Specialist Registrars. I have extended experience in research and presented many times at national and international conferences.
