I specialise in complex lower limb trauma including periarticular fractures, foot and ankle trauma, orthoplastic injuries and post-traumatic limb reconstruction. A significant proportion of my practice involves the use of circular fixators for both acute and delayed trauma reconstruction (nonunion malunion and bone infection) as well as the management of post-traumatic and elective foot and ankle conditions, including sports injuries. At Spire Little Aston Hospital I manage conditions of the foot and ankle including trauma, forefoot deformity, sports injuries and arthritic conditions.

Since 2015 I have worked as an Orthopaedic Trauma Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital which serves as the major trauma centre for Birmingham and the surrounding region. I am a member of the limb reconstruction unit, receiving tertiary referrals from across the region.

After undergraduate training in Edinburgh, I completed Orthopaedic training in Birmingham. This was followed by specialist fellowship training in limb reconstruction surgery in Bristol and foot and ankle surgery in Sheffield as well as a visiting fellowship to Tampa, Florida with Dr Roy Sanders.
