I specialise in general vascular surgery including carotid artery disease and aneurysms. I have a particular interest in lower limb peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot problems and varicose veins. Wherever possible I use minimally invasive techniques to treat these conditions including angioplasty, endovenous laser, radiofrequency ablation, ClariVein® mechanical sclerotherapy and the latest VenaSeal™ glue technology.

I am a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at St George's University Hospital and Kingston Hospital. I completed my medical training at Imperial College, London, in 2002 and entered higher surgical training in the London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery before being awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training in General and Vascular Surgery in 2017. My final two years of training at St George's Vascular Institute and St Thomas' Vascular Unit in London included an interventional Fellowship where I became proficient in 'keyhole' angioplasty techniques for restoring blood flow to the legs and have taken this into my everyday NHS practice. I perform day case endovenous varicose vein surgery at both St George's and Kingston Hospitals.

I am responsible for the teaching and training of St George's University medical students and junior doctors within the vascular unit at St George's Hospital. I am clinical lead for major lower limb amputation.
