I have been an Orthopaedic Consultant for 22 years. I specialise in hip and knee replacement and revision hip and knee replacement. My sub-specialist interests include infection and periprosthetic fracture.
I completed my education at Epsom College, St Mary's Hospital Medical School and St George's Hospital. My practice is based at St George's Hospital London, The South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre and Spire St Anthony's Hospital.
I have written many leading articles in the field of hip and knee replacement and regarding organisation of healthcare provision. I continue to teach both nationally and internationally to other consultants and senior trainees dealing with all aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery and complex revision techniques.
I have served on several national committees including as a Trustee of the British Orthopaedic Association and I am currently a member of the Professional Affairs Committee of the British Hip Association. I have been the Medical Director of The South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre - the major joint replacement unit in the UK.
