My practice involves specialised airway assessment and treatment of children with complex breathing disorders. My interests lie in diagnosing, investigating and treatment of children with sore throats, hearing problems and sleep disorders arising from enlarged tonsil and adenoids. I am the lead surgeon for provision of surgical treatment of drooling in children.

I qualified in Delhi, India in 1987 with overseas experience working in India and Bahrain. I did my postgraduate surgical training in ENT surgery at Yorkshire deanery where I developed a sub-specialty interest in paediatric otolaryngology.

I did focussed paediatric ENT training at Sheffield Children's Hospital and a year’s clinical fellowship at Evelina Children's Hospital (part of Guys and St Thomas' Hospital), London where I gained valuable experience in airway reconstructive surgery in children. I have also done a rhinology fellowship with world renowned FESS surgeon, Prof Stammberger in Austria.

I have conducted research to study the hearing loss with age in mice, for which I was awarded an MPhil degree from Keele University in 2006. I have over 25 publications in the field of ENT.

I am employed as a consultant ENT surgeon at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, the largest children's hospital in the UK. I am part of the regional cleft team providing hearing surgery for children with cleft palate serving the population of the North West and North Wales.

I endeavour to provide the best possible clinical care to all patients, be it in the private sector or in my clinical NHS practice.
