Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
On returning to Cardiff after my training in Oswestry, Stoke-on-Trent, Sydney (Australia) and Johannesburg (RSA) I helped pioneer single joint speciality surgery in Wales. Having concentrated purely on knee surgery for almost 15 years, both my NHS and private practice reflect a highly specialist experience which I believe is important to maintaining the highest standards of patient care even with the most complex and demanding conditions. From the simpler arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures through to the highly complex revision ('re-do') operations specialisation remains the cornerstone of success.
Knee surgery covers a multitude of related operations from arthroscopy for cartilage and ligament operations, osteotomies to correct alignment and deformity, and knee replacement both primary and revision.
In addition to a busy clinical practice I continue to write, lecture and publish research papers regularly. To date I have authored over 60 research papers, 10 books and chapters and given over 200 invited lectures to national and international conferences.
