I am Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with an NHS practice based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Children's' Hospital. Within my private practice, I consult on all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery both in adults and children.

My specialist interests are the treatment of facial disproportion in adults and children but treat all aspects of surgery of the jaws including wisdom teeth, impacted teeth and jaw cysts. I perform dental implant surgery including bone graft and treat ulcers, white/red patches. I treat facial pain and TMJ disorders, facial trauma, facial asymmetry or disproportion.

I qualified in Dentistry from the University of Birmingham in 1990 and also in Medicine at Bristol University in 1997. I undertook specialist training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the South West of England before gaining extra training as a Craniofacial Fellow in Birmingham and as Paediatric Maxillofacial Fellow in Melbourne, Australia. I was appointed as a Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Birmingham in 2005.

I have been a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham Children's Hospital for over 15 years. I trained in a number of units in the UK and was a craniofacial fellow in Birmingham Children's Hospital before completing my paediatric maxillofacial fellowship in The Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital, Australia. 

I am a honorary clinical lecturer in medicine at the University of Birmingham and a examiner of MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I am on the GMC specialist register for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, is a Fellow of the British association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
