I am a Consultant Ophthalmic and vitreoretinal Surgeon at the Cardiff Eye Clinic and the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
I qualified from Southampton University Medical School in 1986 and joined the British Army on a short service commission to begin training as an ophthalmologist. I was an ophthalmology registrar in Cardiff and Swansea, before undertaking a vitreoretinal fellowship in Melbourne.
At Spire Cardiff Hospital I provide a general ophthalmology and cataract surgery service as well as consultations for ocular trauma, diabetic eye disease and vitreoretinal disorders.
