I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. I have expertise in treating arthritis and sports injuries in the foot and ankle, as well as surgical and non-surgical solutions for Achilles and plantar fascia problems.

After completing my surgical training in Edinburgh, I undertook one year of specialist fellowship training at the Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. Following this I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in NHS Fife where I treat complex foot and ankle problems.

I am also a Tutor for the Master of Surgery in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where I also sit on the Board of Examiners. As a surgical trainer in the NHS, I am a Clinical Supervisor for the South-East Scotland Orthopaedic Surgical Training Programme.

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, NHS Fife

Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh

I live in the West End of Edinburgh with my wife and two Border Collies. I represented Scotland at Squash, but my main interests outside of work now are skiing and golf, as a member of the Royal Burgess Golfing Society. I enjoy travelling abroad and hillwalking all over Scotland.
