I practice as a consultant at Queens Hospital and specialise in lower limb conditions. I specialise in revision and total hip replacement surgery, knee arthroscopy, unicondylar (partial) and total knee replacement, personalised knee replacement surgery and ACL (knee ligament) reconstruction.
I commenced training at selected units in the South of England having taken up a prestigious training opportunity with the Royal Air Force, developing an interest in trauma and reconstructive techniques, which culminated in an extensive period of training at the world renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Further specialist training occurred in The Royal London and St Barts, and then culminated in a specialised Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship at Oxford, internationally recognised for finessing all techniques of hip and knee preservation and reconstructive (replacement) hip surgery.
I have maintained and further developed my expertise with visits to multiple national and international centres to gain further experience in some of the latest developing techniques for hip and knee techniques. I have enjoyed multiple international service stints in addition to my NHS service.

I was born and schooled in London and then qualified from Bristol University. I enjoy sports and travel, and combining the two if possible, including snowboarding, skiing, mountain-biking and scuba diving. I have sailed to a high standard in the past and played football and rugby through school. In quieter times I relax by playing chess, travelling, visiting rarer parts of the world, and discovering unusual restaurants and trying out new foods.
