I have worked, trained and taught in some of the most famous plastic surgery hospitals in the world including: Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow, Great Ormond Street, London, The Kleinert Institute, USA, and The Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia.

Choosing Bristol as my base, I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon treating patients with congenital (birth) deformity, traumatic injuries and cancer, offering both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. I am a frequent attendee of pioneering cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery meetings and conferences both in America and Europe. I am an invited expert lecturer for the BAAPS national cosmetic training programme and have been a tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons for several years. I led the NHS South West Regional Plastic Surgery Unit from 2010-2015 and started the Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit at the Bristol Children's Hospital in 2014.

Before specialising in plastic surgery, I worked in general surgery in London and the South West. During this time, I volunteered my services and vast experience for free, travelling around the world with Medicine Sans Frontieres as a surgeon to help save the lives of men, women and children who were ill or injured in war torn countries such as Papua New Guinea, Somalia and Ethiopia.
