I am an orthopaedic expert specialising in shoulder and elbow injuries, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, arthritis and fractures of the upper limb.

Treatments offered include injection therapy, hydrodilatation, keyhole surgery, shoulder replacement and fracture fixation.

I have lived in Merseyside and Cheshire for the last 20 years, being from the North Wales area originally. I undertook my medical and orthopaedic training in Liverpool before completing internationally recognised shoulder and elbow fellowships at Wrightington Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. There I developed my interests in arthroscopic (keyhole) and shoulder replacement surgery and developed significant experience in performing computer navigated shoulder replacement operations.

I was appointed at Wirral University Teaching Hospital in 2019 with a specific interest in shoulder and elbow trauma and shoulder replacement surgery. Prior to this, I held a consultant position at Aintree University Hospital, where I was responsible for treating patients with major traumatic orthopaedic injuries of the upper and lower limbs, reconstructing complex fractures of the shoulder and elbow.
