I am a London trained eye surgeon and specialise in cataract surgery and have a special interest in anterior segment, corneal and dry eye diseases.
I have been an eye specialist for over 10 years and finalised my training with a fellowship in corneal disease and surgery. Since completing my training at London’s top eye hospitals, I have worked in a consultant role at The Royal London Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital. I have performed over 2,000 ophthalmic surgical procedures.
I am also a published author. My book on the essentials of ophthalmic disease is very popular amongst medical students, junior doctors and trainee eye surgeons. In my spare time I enjoy long walks with my family, reading and photography.

Personal profile
I enjoy writing poetry and am currently writing a work of fiction. Ophthalmology is a very visual specialty that involved the use of lights and lenses. It may therefore come as no surprise that I am passionate about my hobby of photography. I enjoy taking photos of the natural world whilst on long country walks or abstract architectural compositions whilst I journey in the city.
