RCCP, BAAT
I have over 30 years clinical experience in diagnostic audiological assessments carried out on adults and children with hearing ranging from normal to mild and profound. Since I qualified in 1981, I have fitted hearing aids to both adults and children and supported them through their rehabilitation. I am currently the Audiologist who carries out ABR testing on babies in my NHS role.
I have been proactive in my profession by being an editor of our professional magazine, regional representative on the main committee and practical examiner.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mrs Alison Hunt at Spire include:
Audiology and hearing therapy
Other treatments
Audiological investigations for hearing loss
ONC Sciences (Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement) / Newcastle / 1981
Part 1
British Society Audiology Part I and II / Middlesborough / 1981
Part 2
Senior Audiologist at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital
I enjoy an active lifestyle walking our dogs and exercising regularly at zumba. To counterbalance that, I could happily sit for hours stitching by hand or machine. My husband and I enjoy touring the country and exploring new places now our children have grown up and left home.
