I am an experienced gynaecologist with a diverse and broad experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology. I believe in patient-centred and high quality care and in evidence-based practice.
I received my preliminary education in Malta and primary medical qualification from Karachi. I completed my entire training in obstetrics and gynaecology training in the South Thames London deanery rotational training programme in the UK and received a trophy of excellence at the 2nd Annual London Deanery trainee conference. I was appointed a substantive Consultant in the NHS in 2011. I obtained my Membership and Fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, RCOG, London.
I have been Clinical Services Group Lead and Lead Consultant for the labour ward and CNST in my NHS post. I am also an examiner for the RCOG, London and have also completed an Integrated Leadership Programme from Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford.
I have publications in peer reviewed journals and have published chapters in text books.
