I am a highly experienced ENT Consultant with over 20 years of clinical expertise, fully registered with the GMC Specialist Register. I work at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, managing a wide range of adult and paediatric ENT conditions with a sub-specialist interest in paediatric ENT and otology.
My expertise includes the management of complex middle ear and mastoid infections, surgical reconstruction, ossiculoplasty, and bone-anchored hearing aids. I also provide intratympanic therapy for vertigo and Meniere’s disease and conduct combined ENT/audiology clinics for congenital and acquired hearing loss.
I specialise in the management of ear pathologies, including dizziness and hearing impairments, with expertise in performing Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) surgery to enhance auditory function.
Additionally, I have a strong focus on pediatric ENT, diagnosing and treating a range of common and complex conditions in children, such as drooling, tongue tie, recurrent ear and throat infections, hearing loss, and neck lumps. My approach combines precision, compassionate care, and evidence-based treatments to optimize patient outcomes.
With over 15 years of NHS experience, I have developed extensive surgical expertise, having performed over 1,000 coblation tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy procedures
over 1,000 grommet insertions, over 500 septoplasty procedures, over 100 Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) surgical procedures, over 500 endoscopic procedures and biopsies.
My practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, utilizing advanced techniques to achieve optimal surgical outcomes.
As Head of the ENT Department, I lead research, audits, and education. I am a GMC-recognised trainer and an Honorary Lecturer at Edge Hill University, actively involved in undergraduate ENT teaching.
I am dedicated to high-quality patient care, valued for my professional, approachable, and empathetic nature. My leadership, teaching, and commitment to excellence ensure the ongoing development of both clinical services and medical education.
