I have been working at Spire Harpenden Hospital since 2014. My qualifications include BSc (Hons) physiotherapy, MSc (sports and exercise physiotherapy) and an ongoing PhD (candidate) in movement analysis using 3D motion capture technology.
I have over 20 years of physiotherapy clinical experience in Ireland, Australia and the UK. In manual therapy, acupuncture, orthotics, pain management and pilates training. As well as extensive paediatric experience. I established my own private practice from 2005 prior to relocation to the UK in 2013.
I contribute on UCL MSc Sports Medicine Modules and Advanced Paediatric modules. I am a tutor with Setanta College, Ireland on 'long-term athletics development' module.
I have a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries including hockey, rugby, football, Gaelic football, hurling and basketball. I was previously the inter-county lead physiotherapist for Mayo Senior Men Football, Galway Ladies Football, Connacht Schoolboys Rugby and senior team. As well as the lead physiotherapist with Oakland College Basketball Academy.
I am the current NAGS England Hockey under-age pitch side physiotherapist.
