I am a highly experienced Specialist Dietitian with eight years of clinical practice, including leadership as a Highly Specialist Team Lead Dietitian. I am due to complete a PhD (May 2025), bringing a strong research-driven approach to dietetic care. I am trained by Kings College in the low FODMAP diet for IBS management and use recent evidence and guidelines in the management of clinical conditions. I am passionate about evidence-based nutrition and optimising patient outcomes through personalised dietary strategies.
I specialise in the dietary management of a range of gastrointestinal and medical conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, and pancreatic disorders. My expertise extends to supporting patients before and after surgery, including gastrointestinal resections and bariatric procedures.
With eight years of experience as a specialist dietitian, I have supported patients across a wide range of cultures and clinical conditions, tailoring my approach to meet their individual dietary, medical, and cultural needs.
I undertake a comprehensive dietetic assessment to understand each patient’s unique needs and develop a tailored nutrition plan to optimise their health and symptom management. As part of my approach, I request further investigations where necessary, such as blood tests, allergy tests, and stool tests, to ensure an accurate diagnosis and the most effective dietary interventions. My goal is to empower individuals with evidence-based nutritional strategies that support their long-term wellbeing.
I use evidence-based dietary strategies to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. This includes providing written resources, recommending appropriate supplements, and assisting with prescription requests to ensure patients receive the necessary nutritional support. I am able to provide dietetic support in multiple languages, including Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
I have run outpatient clinics for eight years, delivering high-quality care within both the NHS and private practice. My approach is patient-centred—I take the time to listen, understand concerns, and develop practical, personalised dietary plans that fit each patients lifestyle and medical requirements.

Outside of work, I love cooking foods from different cultures and attending cooking classes when traveling abroad - learning about new ingredients and techniques inspires me both personally and professionally. I also enjoy staying active, whether it’s through yoga, gym classes, or simply getting outside for a walk.
