I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford and Queen Mary's Hospital, London and the Clinical Lead for Trauma services at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. I am also a Team Doctor for British Judo.

I specialise in hip and knee replacements and sports injuries of the knee requiring keyhole surgery. I perform 'Clipless Cosmetic' Total hip and knee replacements. I have a keen interest in complex trauma, enhanced recovery and rehabilitation.

I am a reputed researcher with over 25 publications in international peer reviewed journals and have delivered over 50 invited lectures and presentations at national and international conferences. I have a keen interest in training the next generation of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and regularly teach on various FRCS and Royal College of Surgeons courses.

I graduated from the prestigious Madras Medical College in India and completed my orthopaedic training in the UK, where I was awarded the Ian Smillie Award for Academic Excellence during my Masters course, MCh(Orth), at the University of Dundee. I completed lower limb and complex trauma fellowships at many world renowned centres in the UK and in Germany. I have previously worked as a Consultant at the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust.
