Register to attend our free face-to-face patient event conducted by Mr George Saleh, Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon.
During this informative evening, Mr Saleh will be giving expert advice on cataracts, symptoms and treatment options (including our new cataract surgery package) providing you with the opportunity to ask questions and get expert advice on the night.
If you're living with cataracts and want to find out more about the treatments which are available, this event is for you.
This event is hosted by Microsoft Teams, a video conferencing service for hosting live virtual meetings. Microsoft Teams can be used from a computer, mobile or tablet. You don’t need an account to attend a virtual meeting.

From Harpenden town centre
Follow the A1081 signposted Luton. You will pass a BP garage on your left. Just after the large brick railway bridge turn right into Hillside Road (signed ‘private hospital’). At the top of Hillside Road, turn left and the hospital is on the right hand side.
From M1 junction 10
Follow the A1081 signed Harpenden/St Albans. After approximately two miles, turn left into Hillside Road (immediately before the second set of traffic lights and the brick railway bridge). At the top of Hillside Road, turn left into Ambrose Lane and the hospital is on the right hand side.
From A1 junction 4 (Tesco roundabout) at Hatfield
Follow the A6129 to Wheathampstead. At the Stanborough roundabout turn left under the A1 and at the next roundabout take the third exit onto the B653 towards Wheathampstead and Harpenden.
You will pass Brocket Hall on your right hand side. Follow the road for a further mile and at the roundabout take the second exit on to Cory Wright Way, signposted to Luton. Continue straight over at the next roundabout. After approximately two miles you will pass a Tesco garage on the left followed by a roundabout, turn left into Station Road. Take the next right into Coldharbour Lane, travel a short distance and then turn left into Ox Lane. Continue straight up the hill until you reach a mini roundabout. Turn left and then immediately right into Hollybush Lane. Travel over the railway bridge and shortly afterwards you will see Ambrose Lane on your right. Turn right and follow the road for around a quarter of a mile until you see Spire Harpenden Hospital on the right.
Free parking
We have free on-site parking for you and your visitors.
Onsite car parking at Spire Harpenden Hospital is now managed by Parking Eye.
Please input your car registration via the touch screens located in our reception areas to avoid a parking penalty. This will validate parking until midnight only. If you're dropping off or collecting someone, you have 20 minutes to come into the car park and depart.
By train
If you're travelling by train, Harpenden station is five minutes away from Spire Harpenden Hospital via car/taxi.
There is a 25 minute direct train from London St Pancras, which runs regularly throughout the day.

Harpenden has regular bus services, with links into Luton, St Albans and Watford.
