Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital
We're excited to invite you to an educational evening at Spire Hull and East Riding, held at Lowfield Clinic and presented by consultant ophthalmologist Sid Goel!
Sid has been a consultant since 2008, providing ophthalmology services with a special interest in cataract and refractive advanced cataract surgery, laser and lens based glasses corrective surgery, as well as oculofacial plastic surgery and corneal/anterior segment surgery.
With a modern and efficient practice, Sid maintains a caring approach to his patients and ensures that their interests are always at the front of everything else.
Mr Goel has trained and worked for 20 years in ophthalmology training centres in the UK and internationally, acquiring a range of qualifications and memberships across many specialist ophthalmic organisations. He's well presented and published with over 20 publications and 100 presentations to his name, along with winning both national and international awards for his scientific work.
As a part of the evening educational session, Sid will be updating optomertrists on keratoconus, and then covering cataract surgery in complex eyes before breaking into a Q&A session for attendees. Afterwards, there will be a chance for mingling and opportunities to chat with Sid! A buffet dinner will be provided after the presentation for attendees.
This session is a hybrid event, available both virtually via Teams as well as in-person at Lowfield Clinic. Please reserve either an in-person or virtual place accordingly. In-person spaces are limited, so book early if you are interested in attending!
This session is tailored for UK Optometrists and Eye Care Professionals. GP and Primary Care colleagues are welcome to attend.
