I specialise in knee surgery, including partial and total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy and ligaments (ACL), meniscal surgery and dislocation of patella. I also specialise in hip replacement surgery. 

I have studied and practised orthopaedics since 1992, which has led to an MS degree in orthopaedics from MD University in Rohtak, India. Following this I completed my FRCS in 1999 at the University of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

I have conducted/led workshops across Asia and the Far East teaching total and partial knee replacement, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction. I have lectured at the American Academy and in Europe.

In 2004 I was awarded the MCh(Orth) from the University of Liverpool. My higher surgical training was completed at the Mersey Deanery, where I gained my FRCS(Orth) in 2006 and my CCT in 2008. In 2011, I did my fellowship in knee surgery (replacement, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction) at Mount Vernon and Hillingdon Hospital, London. After this, I was practising in a busy private hospital in New Delhi, before moving back to the UK where I took a position as a Consultant at Bangor Hospital in 2016.
