MBBCh, MSc, FRCSEd, MD, FRCSEd (Gen Surg)
I am an experienced Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon who has been providing vascular surgery in Kent and Medway for the last 20 years at Medway Maritime Hospital, Kent and Canterbury Hospital, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and Spire Alexandra Hospital.
I have a main interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) varicose veins surgery with endovenous ablation using laser treatment, radiofrequency ablation and foam sclerotherapy. I am also interested in the management of diabetic foot infection and leg ulcers and was instrumental in setting up and running the diabetic foot services in the region for years.
I provide the full scope of vascular services including management of peripheral vascular disease (blocked arteries), abdominal aortic aneurysm including endovascular treatment or keyhole treatment (EVAR), carotid artery disease management with carotid endarterectomy for stroke prevention, arterial and venous problems of the upper and lower limbs including venous thrombosis.
I completed my training in Northern Ireland and the North West and have been on the GMC Specialist Register since 2005. I was awarded an MD Degree from the Queen’s University of Belfast in 2000 for my research in vascular surgery.
